Terms of Use

By downloading, accessing, or using Scholars Notes ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Scholars Notes.

Scholars Notes offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features. Your subscription will automatically renew for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

All subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple ID. To cancel your subscription, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device, or follow Apple's cancellation instructions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to premium features until the cycle ends. We do not process refunds directly — refund requests must go through Apple.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years old to use Scholars Notes. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

You agree not to misuse Scholars Notes. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App; interfering with or disrupting the App's infrastructure; uploading viruses or malicious code; using the App for any illegal purpose; scraping or collecting data from the App without permission; or harassing, abusing, or harming others through the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of any content you create within Scholars Notes. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We do not claim ownership of your notes, study guides, or any other content you generate.

Your use of Scholars Notes is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Scholars Notes is provided as a study and productivity tool. We do not guarantee any specific academic outcome, grade improvement, test score, or admission result from using the App. AI-generated content, study guides, and suggestions may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should always verify critical information independently. Use Scholars Notes at your own discretion and risk.

Scholars Notes is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Scholars Notes after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms of Use supplement the Apple Standard EULA, which governs your use of the App as licensed through the Apple App Store. In the event of any conflict between the Apple Standard EULA and these Terms, these Terms shall govern solely with respect to the Scholars Notes app and its specific features.
